ZLINE DuraMount™ Range Hood Inserts are a patented line of wall-mounted inserts designed for faster, stronger custom hood installations. The load-bearing steel frame shifts the weight to the wall, allowing you to hang the insert directly onto pre-set keyholes rather than lifting it into place.

Why it matters: If you are building a custom wood, plaster, or metal hood shell, DuraMount eliminates the need for complex bracing and makes alignment infinitely easier. It adapts to studs, anchors, or irregular framing—ensuring a clean, professional install every time.

Custom range hoods are beautiful, but installing the insert inside them has historically been a two-person job of heavy lifting, shimming, and bracing. ZLINE's DuraMount™ changes that entirely.

By leveling the mounting screws first and hanging the insert on the pre-set keyholes, you get a secure, multi-point connection that distributes weight across a broad footprint. It's designed to align with standard 16" on-center framing, making it ideal for both new builds and retrofits.
