The short answer
Solid Italian brass burners are available on every current ZLINE range series. You can get them three ways: order a range with the -BR suffix (factory brass on every burner), choose an Autograph Edition range (brass is included standard), or add official ZLINE Brass Burner Replacement Sets to a range you already own.
Why it matters: Brass holds heat more evenly and resists warping better than aluminum over years of daily use. It is a functional upgrade, not a cosmetic one β and knowing which path gets you there is the difference between paying for it once and paying for it twice.
If you have spent any time shopping ZLINE ranges, you have hit this question: what actually changes when you move up to brass burners?
The answer is simpler than the model numbers make it look. Every current ZLINE gas or dual-fuel range can be configured with solid Italian brass burners. What differs is which series you are shopping and which path gets you to brass β factory-installed, included standard, or added later.
Here is the full picture, series by series, plus the two legitimate upgrade paths if you already own a ZLINE range.

-BR suffix, "Autograph Edition," and "DuoPro" with no clear explanation of how they relate.Brass burners are a functional upgrade, not a cosmetic one. Three things change when you move from aluminum to solid brass.
π₯ Superior Heat Retention
Brass holds heat longer and spreads it more evenly across the pan. Fewer hot spots, more consistent results.
πͺ Resists Warping
Under prolonged high heat, aluminum can eventually warp. Solid brass holds its shape over years of daily use.
π Lifetime Warranty
ZLINE backs its solid brass burner pieces with an industry-first limited lifetime warranty for the original owner.

ZLINE marks brass configuration three different ways. Here is what to look for in each.
The -BR Suffix
Factory-installed solid brass burners on every burner position. Available on Legacy, Classic, Marino, and Paramount.
Example: SDR-BR-30
"Autograph Edition" in the Name
Every ZLINE range with "Autograph" in the name includes Italian brass burners as standard equipment. No -BR suffix needed, no upgrade charge.
Example: SDRZ-30-CB
The P Prefix (DuoPro)
DuoPro burners are always brass and dual-ring. The P prefix signals DuoPro technology on Classic, Paramount, or Marino. Not available on Legacy.
Example: PSDR-30
Every current ZLINE gas or dual-fuel series offers solid brass burners. The difference is which path gets you there β and whether the series offers DuoPro on top of brass.
| Series | Oven Window Style | Standard Burner | Brass Upgrade Path | DuoPro Available? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Legacy | Landscape | Italian aluminum |
-BR upgrade |
No |
| Classic | Horizon | Italian aluminum |
-BR upgrade |
Yes |
| Marino | Vista (edge-to-edge) | Italian aluminum |
-BR upgrade |
Yes |
| Paramount | Horizon+ Panoramic | Italian aluminum |
-BR upgrade |
Yes |
|
Autograph Edition (any series) |
Series-specific | Italian brass β standard | N/A β already brass | Yes |
β The value move most buyers miss: if you are already considering an Autograph Edition range for its finish options, you are also getting Italian brass burners at no extra charge. The -BR suffix on a non-Autograph range is a paid upgrade. On an Autograph range, brass is simply included.
β Buy Brass (-BR or Autograph) Ifβ¦
You cook most nights, want the burners to look and perform like new in ten years, and like the warm brass look. It is the "I want this range to still feel new" upgrade β not a required one.
β Standard Aluminum Is Fine Ifβ¦
You cook a few nights a week and do not push your burners into prolonged high heat. Italian aluminum is a genuinely excellent burner β it is the same core technology ZLINE uses across the lineup, not a compromise tier.
If you already own a ZLINE range and want to upgrade to solid brass burners, you have two legitimate paths:
-BR suffix (or as an Autograph Edition) for factory-installed brass on every burner. One invoice, one freight shipment. Our commitment: every brass upgrade we offer is original ZLINE equipment β factory brass burners or official ZLINE Replacement Sets. We do not sell aftermarket parts. Everything we carry is original and brand new.
All current series β Legacy, Classic, Marino, and Paramount β offer solid brass burners via the -BR suffix. Every Autograph Edition range includes brass as standard equipment. DuoPro burners, which are always brass and dual-ring, are available on Classic, Marino, and Paramount.
Yes. Every ZLINE range with "Autograph" in the name ships with Italian brass burners as standard β no -BR suffix needed, no upgrade charge. Autograph gives you premium finishes (Black Stainless, Champagne Bronze, Gold, and Polished Helix handles on the Paramount Autograph line) and brass burners in one package.
Yes β via official ZLINE Brass Burner Replacement Sets. Everything we sell is original, brand-new ZLINE equipment. We do not sell aftermarket parts. See Replacement Sets β
Yes. ZLINE backs its Italian burners and burner caps with an industry-first limited lifetime warranty for the original owner, on units purchased after October 1, 2021, with product registration. If a burner fails under normal use, ZLINE replaces it. Keep your proof of purchase. Warranty terms can vary slightly by series and model.
The -BR suffix designates solid brass burners on a standard single-ring cooktop. The P prefix designates DuoPro β brass and dual-ring architecture with a wider BTU range. Both have brass; DuoPro adds the dual-ring technology on top. Note that P stands for DuoPro, not Paramount β Paramount's series code is S.

At the end of the day, Italian aluminum and Italian brass both deliver excellent cooking. The question is not "which is best" β it is which one matches how you actually cook. π₯
