The short answer
Classic offers two paths to solid Italian brass burners. Order a Classic range with the -BR suffix for factory-installed brass on every burner, or choose a Classic Autograph Edition range — which includes brass as standard equipment along with premium finish accents. Both land in the same place: a Modern Streamlined Classic range with full brass.
Why it matters: Brass holds heat more evenly and resists warping better than aluminum over years of daily use. On Classic, you can add it without moving up to Paramount — Classic is the series where DuoPro is most accessible, so brass gives you a clear step before the technology upgrade.
Classic is ZLINE's Modern Streamlined series — the design evolution that refined Legacy's Traditional Pro styling with cleaner lines and the Horizon centered oven window. It is also one of two series (alongside Paramount and Marino) that supports all three burner tiers. Two of those tiers live here:
Path 1 — The -BR upgrade. Order any Classic range with the -BR designation and ZLINE installs solid Italian brass burners at the factory on every burner position. One invoice, one freight shipment.
Path 2 — Autograph Edition. Every Classic range with "Autograph" in the name includes Italian brass burners as standard equipment — no -BR suffix needed, no upgrade charge. You get brass plus the premium finish accents (Champagne Bronze, Polished Gold, or Matte Black).
Both paths land in the same place: a Classic range with solid Italian brass burners on every burner. The only question is whether you want the accent hardware upgrade that comes with Autograph.
